It's a risky subject for a photographer to take on not for "safety reasons,"
but rather is "risky" in an artistic, ethical, sensitivity sense. This is an
easy subject to shoot, but a very difficult subject to shoot well, in a
meaningful, respectful way. The line between documenting a way of life and
producing a still version of Jerry Springer is very thin, and it runs along
the edge of an exceedingly slippery slope.

Hi B.D.,

While I am find the subject matter of cross-dressing interesting (would
approach it given the chance), I don't understand the risk-taking part.
Could you (or Brian) explain the risks ? Thanks,
