[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Stefan Daniel of Leica Solms said at the LHSA meeting a couple of years ago that acquiring digital focus-assist technology for the R series is as problematic as getting autofocus technology: none of the Japanese companies will sell it to Leica, and Leica cannot develop the technology by itself. Perhaps now is the time for one of the Japanese manufacturers who claims to revere Leica to come to the company's aid.
