I prefer to think that images shot through a camera accumulate like a patina
on sterling silver and  help add to the quality of all future images. In
fact I think a program for the Discovery channel, yet to be aired or even
filmed, will document that cameras of great war correspondents when used for
portraiture will reveal the pathos in the subject while those of a great
landscape photographer will have a certain static quality. One can only
imagine the variables possible....oh I feel a documentary coming on...
