B. D. you devil you. ;-)
OK I agree and in this case I had an aperture I could adjust to compensate
for the 1/60th / 1/125 shutter speeds. And yes one could be screwed
completely under some conditions. However, we all being Super Leica Users
like good Boy Scout's are always..."Be Prepared!" ;-) Batteries at hand or
handily in equipment bag. :-)

Jeeesh, if I put new batteries in everyday on assignment, I might as well
buy the battery factory and take batteries instead of dividends. ;-)

Things like battery failure is when it happens it happens, then change. I
never think about it until they crash and burn. Because there are always new
ones at hand for every battery user camera of the day.

In my shoulder equipment bag I have double sets of batteries for everything
and as soon as one set is used a notation on the need to buy list is made
and new purchased and into the bag.

The R8 motor power packs are checked after each shoot day and if they show
two red lights or one they go on charge immediately. I also carry the basic
battery cover and spare batteries in case, heaven forbid, the motor power
pack should crap out completely during a shoot. Not likely, as they go for a
longtime before drained. But being an old Boy Scout, I'm prepared. ;-)

>>> Who NEVER makes stupid mistakes himself. ;-)<<<<

Well OK I believe you. :-) says he naively. However, could we please put
that on the discussion paper for the October Boston meeting? ;-)
