Wow, that is really strange.  Why is it that in the second, thrid and fourth
photos, the top corners and the edges are fine but the top middle of the
frame is trippin'?  The corners are the same distance away fromt he lens as
the top edge, but have a very different out of focus effect.  It is like an
out of focus wedge moving away and towards you from the main point of focus.
The last photo is more what I would expect.  You can see a nice slice across
the photo of the in-focus range and both foreground and background are out
of focus.
