I sat at a distance from >them, observing them for a while, then walked over and ask permission to >take their pictures. I did so for about one hour. When they said yes to me, >they probably thought it'd be a snap or two, little did they know >:-) I asked >for their address and will send them some prints. These are the best of >the bunch. > > http://www.pbase.com/phong/courtship > >Comments, criticisms are very welcome. This is the best way for me to learn, >so I truly appreciate your opinion, and comments, good, bad, and ugly. Which >are the strongest and weakest photos of the series in your view ? Firstly well done. Its a big step to move up to imaging strangers and getting comfortable with it. Secondly, I like #7 best. It is tight and tells the most intimate story. As for the rest, the more distant images were so so, and I was especially disappointed that the angle they were taken from was always the same. Of course someone else will think differently Cheers - -- Alastair Firkin http://www.afirkin.com http://www.familyofman2.com ()" "'() ( '0',) (,,)(")(") - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
