Iam with you on this one Roland.....
I make frequent hops from Burbank to Oakland... (SouthWest).....
And I would love to have something like the Shinkasan here.
I have ridden it numerous times form Tokyo to Kyoto..... what a joy.
Smooth as glass... comfortable... on time.....and very .. very fast!
But it is expensive.
