I rarely use a tripod with my Leicas - but when using lenses longer than
90mm, I often use a monopod. Photos taken with 135 & 180 focal lengths
using the monopod are easy to spot compared to those without - even when
using shutter speeds of 1/1000th & higher! The increase in sharpness and
detail is readily apparent, even in 4x6" drugstore prints.
