But I personally know of 4 different people who did this very thing.......and won! They refused the random strip search... and was denied access to their flight... quite naturally. And as someone pointed, the security people could not have cared less. Next they went to the airline tincket counter, and asked for a refund. No deal. The counter people could not have cared less. Next they sent a letter to the ariline office demanding a refund, (of course detailing why), and again, no deal. Final step.... Small Claims court..... which does not require lawyers.... told their story to the judge, BAM.. they won judgment for the cost of the ticket, plus the minimal costs of the court fees. Now granted, the airlines and the security people still don't give a crap... but at least these people got their money back, and now, even they don't give a crap anymore. You can at times fight back... and win. - ----- Original Message ----- From: <SthRosner@aol.com> > > I will ask for, then > > demand, then sue if necessary for a refund. > > And you will spend a lot of money for a lawyer and you will lose. > > Seth > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html > - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
