Does the M7 meter very differently from the M6, or have my M6 assumptions also been wrong? Thanks.........Julian - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tina Manley" <images@InfoAve.Net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Sunday, June 30, 2002 4:03 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] M7 Photo At 03:50 PM 6/30/02 -0400, you wrote: >Tina, > >First of all, I love the picture. Actually, if the M7 had spot metering, I would have used it. Since it only has the averaging center-weighted meter, I have to pick out something to meter on. Since the R8 does have spot metering, I use it for tricky back-lit situations. I didn't take the R8 this trip - just the R6.2. It has a pretty good spot meter, too. I don't remember whether I shot any color of this scene but I'll start developing the color slides tomorrow. I'm almost finished scanning B&W! I don't know what I'd do without the LUG to read while I'm waiting for slides to scan.
