How is watching a spectator sport a development of either the mind or the body? I guess slogging down pints at the game, and running (er, trampling) crowds, all out brawls, could be considered development of the body... And, certainly body development can be achieved by yelling at the top of your lungs while jumping up and down, better than an hour long aerobic class...and you might even learn some new words...so I guess mind development might ensue... Now, before someone gets all a dither here (or more a tether than they already are), I am not in any way criticizing organized sporting events, or the spectatorship thereof...simply questioning how it is either development of the mind and/or body... If you were schlepping your Leica and all the lenses about, scampering about the sidelines simply to get spectacular shots, well, that, obviously, is pretty good mind and body development ;-) Austin - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
