I keep hearing how soft the old 135mm f2.8 lenses are...it looks pretty sharp to me considering it is probably a small jpeg file viewed on a computer screen. I know the 135mm f3.4 of today is VERY sharp, but I've seen nice 135 2.8's for under $500.
