The key is to be tuned in to what is going on, and leave at the right time. I have never attended any of the G8 protests, but at the Mayday rallies around Europe, usually the real trouble involving anarchists, tear gas etc. starts only after the main demo is over. Perhaps you can monitor the web sites of the anti-globalisation movement to get an idea of what the plans are. Just keep your eyes open when you are there and you should be OK. Nathan "Greg J.
