I scaned an image and saved it using GF...all went well up to then. I am getting an error message trying to save the image I scaned after opening it and assigning to it a Generations Ink profile, but I don't know yet if that is a problem between GF and PS or if the Generations profile is confusing something. I 'll check with GF tech support and let you know what I find out. The section of their site I ordered from said they supported XP and PS 7(although their user guide in PDF format did not mention either of these as being supported...probably just needs to be updated in the documentation). GF seems to work well (compresses the file and supports going up to 16X20 on an Epson 3000 with no image degredation). It does run VERY slow. In this case my 50MG GF file from a 2 1/4 negative at 2400 DPI is taking about 6 minutes to open in PS 7 on a 2.3GHz machine with over 80 Gig of free disk space and no other programs running. - --- Darrell Jennings <darrell_jennings@yahoo.com> wrote: > I traded emails with her a week or so back > because I just implemented a duplicate of her > computer/software/printer setup.
