[Leica] leica durability? my posterior! (what is it? caught in the mosh!)

in the mosh pit at a carfax abbey show this weekend my m6 took a combat boot
to the rewind knob which promptly bent like a wilted mushroom. making it
impossible to advance or rewind until i'd pried it into a globby, acorn
shape with a screw driver. i swear that thing is made out of aluminum. it
works now, but i get dizzy watching it.
