Alot would probably depend on the crowd you hang out with. Among the Seattle grade shool and pre-school crowd, the powerpuff girls go over quite well. Hello Kitty probably would be ok, but hamtaro would just result in blank stares. I don't think I'm qualified to comment on the Philly goth supermodel crowd. I would recommend that you excercise a bit of caution, whatever you do. You don't want some crazed hamtaro fan trying to rip your leica off your shoulder as you're walking down the street. I had one powerpuff crazed 3-year old try to snatch my camera off our table in a restaurant. After a bit of wrestling I was able to pry it out of his hands, and let me tell you, 3-year olds aren't afraid to bite! Tom Finnegan Seattle Mr. Tom's Travel Tip: If you suddenly find your leica powerpuff/hello kitty/hamtaro/barbie free when out and about, dash into a grocery store and snag a few of those organic produce stickers. While the adhesive isn't usually as long lasting, they are almost perfectly sized for covering the red dot. "Hey mister, is that camera really all natural and organic?" "Oh absolutely, no pesticides or herbacides were used in it's production." - -----Original Message----- From: Kyle Cassidy [mailto:KCassidy@asc.upenn.edu] Sent: Monday, June 10, 2002 8:43 AM To: 'leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us' Subject: [Leica] hello kitty or hamtaro for black leica? hi folks, i've been putting hello kitty stickers on my black M6 but now i'm worried that hamtaro stickers would be better. i'll be taking a trip to europe later this summer and want to make sure i have the best stickers on my camera. if people are switching to hamtaro, i don't want to be the last to upgrade. the advantage of hello kitty is that the silver circular batz maru sticker perfectly covers the red dot, but i don't want to be out of fashion or affect my image quality or give europeans the idea that americans are behind the times. does anybody know if hamtaro comes in red-dot size? thanks for your input, kc - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
