This question could be considered BLASPHAMY :O I can only give general comments on the Contax as I don't own one but have used one . Lenses great, battery life w/o the big pack is horrible, there is some sort of 1-2 second delay when the camera puts it's self into power save mode and you press the shutter to focus/shoot so you just need to depress the button before bringing the camera to your eye. Wouldn't the Mamiya 7 be a good companion to the Leicas ;) (if you had an M) I just made some scans on an Epson 2450 and am printing out some 8x10's & 11x14's from old negs I never proofed. They RoXorZ !! I can only imagine what they'd look like if I got good drum scans and crystal prints made :) - -- John Straus Chicago, IL http://SlideOne.com http://SlideOne.com/EditorsRoom ========================== - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
