Doesn't make sense to base a whole advertising campaign on that!<<<< Like I said... they used personalities, Bryan Adams and the V/P of Forbes... big deal!!!! and their hands.... Hell Bryan Adams says he treats his Leica as he treats his voice. Now that's a great way to be a good solid photographer and if you've seen his photographs I know he uses his voice far better than he uses his leica!! The big deal personality crap! Who cares if they have hands... it's the bloody eyes to see with and without seeing well I don't care if the shooter can hand hold 6 Leicas at the same time! We have an extremely talented photographer shooting for a Vancouver newspaper who consistently out shoots everybody else and he has one hand and a stump on the other arm. I might suggest the Leica program of "hands" goes right down the drain if they were to look at the work of Arlen as he consistently proves light, eyes and action are the most important part of picture taking. I must apologize for my some what rant, but for years Leica have never got it right about their advertising campaigns, as many on the list know. I'm always left with the question, " who makes the final decisions and really what are they trying to sell?" But then as I tell folks who get all fussed up over the weather..... "Why get worked up about something you have no control over and can't do anything about ? Live with it!" So I'll move on and do my Leica picture taking thing. ;-) However in this case I do feel a tad better. ;-) even if I can't do anything about it. ;-) ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
