Assuming the lab did not process it incorrectly (I know them >well and they take great care) is there a nominal speed rating for Technical >Pan and could I have therefore overexposed the film by a stop, or is it >variable and one should develop it at the speed it was used? I shoot a reasonable amount of TechPan. I use Technidol developer and follow the instructions religiously especially the agitation instructions. I have been very pleased with the tonality of the images and amazed at the grain, or lack of grain. Typically I shoot at ASA 25 although in the late afternoon when there's a lot of red light I can shoot it at 50. TechPan's response curve shows that it is much more sensative at the red end of the spectrum. Hope this helps. Adam - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
