Etc. Etc. They see something that looks good and then go out and find the cheapest price. The fact this man didn't think ahead or do some research is not unusual. As for getting good information about a product, even from a dealer more advanced than a "warehouse" store, that is often problematic. After having done my research, I have often shopped for an item in upscale dealer stores where you would expect to get expert advice only to find that I had more knowledge than the sales person. I guess it is a matter of buyer beware and, if all else fails, read the instruction manual, hopefully before using the product.
