Terry,

I don't think I'd blame the manufacturer in this case. Isn't this more a
case of a guy who was trying to save some money by buying a camera at a
warehouse store where he knew that no one would be able to give him advice
or detailed instructions? If he'd gone to a camera shop with decent service
and asked a few questions - or if he'd done a little research in the first
place - he would have known he was buying a camera that wasn't the best for
his purposes.
