These are all printed digitally on RA-4 photographic emulsions, mostly Fuji Crystal Archive. The process involves a high-resolution scan of the original Kodachrome; the resulting file is cropped, color- and contrast-corrected and dust-spotted with Photoshop, and output to the RA-4 emulsion by a LightJet, Fuji Frontier, or ZBE Chromira printer. I'm doing all the Photoshop work, with the goal of making the print look exactly like the original slide aside from color temperature corrections. NEW: The Snowy Egret photo is now available! PLEASE NOTE: I'll be on vacation for much of June and will be unable to send any prints during that time. Also, print sales during the last week of May will be limited to those on hand. Plan ahead! Having purchased the film for my trip to Yellowstone, my wallet's looking a bit empty and I'm trying to find creative ways to pay for processing the film once I return. Your unexpired PK36 mailers and comparable A&I Kodachrome mailers are worth $5 each toward the purchase of a print.
