These pictures are from a series of events in the previous weeks. Week 18 Week 18 was taken at a church cultural night. I loved the beauty and grace of this dancer in particular and I'm delighted with how this picture captures both the grace of her sweeping motions and the beauty of the girl. The Alt 1 was snapped at the same event. This is a lucky coincidence of my scanner misinterpreting two frames of the same dancer as one and scanning it as a sort of wacky panorama shot. I did *not* stitch these together and that is the same person in both. Odd outcome, but providence sometimes provides. The Alt2 for Week 18 was taken out front of my house on a lazy Saturday afternoon. As I dozed on the couch in a semi-comatose state, I vaguely noticed that the neighbor boy had started playing his accordion. I laid there for probably 30 minutes enjoying the breeze, the music and my own half-hearted attempt at consciousness. Finally I decided I had to have the performer's picture, so out I charged with camera in hand, in what I'm sure was a somewhat nutty state. Week 19 Week 19 is my daughter, often a target of my attention, showing off her "pretty dress". Most anyone with a 3 year old daughter will recognize the importance of "pretty" and "dress" to a girl this age. We just try to make sure that "smart" and "strong" get inserted as well. The Alt is my wife and our 3 month old son, doing what he does second best. The first thing he does, of course, is fill my heart. And the expression on my wife's face is also what new parents do best: endure. http://home.earthlink.net/~heninger/paw ..................................................................... w a d e h e n I n g e r | p h o t o g r a p h y http://home.earthlink.net/~heninger/photography.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
