<The final fantastic feature of Leica is the backwards compatibility. When I
went
<to London last week I carried with me a mid-1950s collapsible 50mm
Summicron,
<which I promptly put on the M7 in the shop. I do not know of any other
camera
<system where you can put an almost-50 year old lens on a 2002 model.

Natham

I can, but I don't, fit my Nikkor 17-35mm f1:2.8 AFS in my 1959 Nikon F and
it works. Metering stop down. I can, but I don't, use my 1965 Nikkor Micro
55mm f1:3.5 in my F4 and it works. Leica is great but it's not sole.

Kind regards

Felix
