I've been playing with digital for some time now and that is one of my big complaints. If you get a chance to shoot a few flash shots I would like to see how it handles flash, particularly portraits and close in shots. The Leica is $100 more but it includes a bigger memory card and different software. They are essentially the same price. There is no shutter lag. I tested that by taking photographs of my granddaughter - the toughest test of the decisive moment!
