My family and I are firm believers in "what goes around comes around" I say lets do it yearly. Any volunteers to establish the mechanism to make it work? It would seem only fair that, if the LUG were to undertake establishing some sort of scholarship fund, that more than one "student" would have a chance at it. Something doesn't feel quite correct in having only one nominee for this proposed scholarship fund. The same might be said for the destination of the "photographer". I'd suggest that if such a fund begin that it be open to folks who can show: 1) Financial Need 2) A Proven Skill / Track Record 3) A passion for "their own" Photojournalistic Concept And then the LUG distributes the funds to: 1) The Best Idea 2) Showing the most skill 3) With the greatest need George - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
