Greyhound came into being at a time when mass transportation was a viable
means to travel.
Greyhound stations where built strategically where they were needed.
As time passed and General Motors prevailed, neighborhoods changed, the
commercial topography of cities shifted, and Greyhound found itself unable
to relocate, renovate, expand, thrive.
These days, for the most part, the majority of Greyhound travelers are the
poorer strata of society. An unfortunate state of being, and gasoline prices
keep soaring.
