[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]for most macro shots you need to stop down into the f16-f32 range. at that point, hitting the DOF preview lever will have a definite effect. even at these apetures, it is unlikely that you'll get complete front to back depth of field. the hard thing in macro is picking what you want to have in focus, getting the camera on a plane that maximizes focus on what yout hink is important, and then stopping down to make sure you have enough front to back focus.
