Subject: [Leica] 50/2.8 Elmar Collapsible

Before we all got derailed, the talk was of the 50mm Elmar (new
version). Very few folks ever talk about this lens. I have mine 90%
collapsed on a Bessa-T most of the time, and on an M3 some of the time.
What do y'all think about this lens? Mine seems to have very nice
contrast and is capable of transmitting rich, saturated colors. I'm not
too sure of its sharpness simply because the subject matter has
been...soft.

Anyone on the LUG use the new version of the collapsible Elmar with
regularity? I bought it primarily because of its diminutive price and
diminutive size. I was surprised by its nice capabilities.
