The 5.6/300 Kilfitt (the lens used by Jimmy Stewart in REAR WINDOW, incidentally, mounted on an Exakta) is one of the smaller Kilfitt offerings. A previous owner fit a series VIII adaptor and Kodak lens shade to the end of the screw-in Kilfitt shade. This GREATLY increases the bulk, but lets me use filters which would otherwise be VERY difficult. The lens has an extremely odd thread--I think it's 67.5 mm.
