Yes, you are right about that. While the M7 doesn't display intermediary 
speeds (it would be too confusing) it does use them.

In addition, the use of intermediary speeds on the M6 is not recommended nor 
acurate according to the folks at Leica. They said this long before the M7 
came out...as I recall I called for a customer about 2 years ago and got this 
answer.
