Subject: Re: [Leica] M7 Handicapped?

There is not a day that goes by where I do not bless the time I learned
to read. So much knowledge comes from that one seemingly trivial skill.

There is no such thing as a true stepless electronic shutter with an
infinite number of settings between traditional marked speeds. However
the steps are very small, on the order of one tenth of a stop. The M7's
viewfinder read out shows only half stop steps for the sake of
simplicity.
