Mr. Dobro was venerated by the school staff and some of the students.
Rightfully so as he was a pioneer in photographic techniques as well as a
master photographer and printer.

So he was not only "dobro", he was "oshen horosho".

Leica used to send him a new camera every time a new model was introduced.
When Leica stopped the practice, he turned to Nikon and received free
cameras and lenses.

He bequeathed his extensive portfolio to Brooks Institute.
