I've had it as an active desktop item for about a week. Each day I look at it and move it to a slightly different part. The thing I love about it so much is the individual stories of each person and how they go about there lives without noticing each other. The photographer must have been noticing just little quirks about each one and skillfully put them all together. It starts with the girl at the far left who is glaring at the taxi, a common activity in big cities. Then there is the adventurous guy in his dirty brown coat, staring out at the world around him(or watching for traffic). He doesn't care what others think of him as his hair blows all out of place and he strives for his next goal. Standing directly behind is the GAP bag carrying fake blonde, secure in his designer cloths. He is carefully watched by the bundled up girl surrounded by her distracted family. Past the slightly lost man in a black coat is the scowling lady in red. Time has worn away her pretenses but she is still going ahead, she stands out in the red and makes an undeniable landmark in the photo. The man on the bike is inconsequential but makes an excellent stop gap for the photo. These are just little things that jumped out at me saying there was a genius behind the camera. This was obviously not just an arbitrary panorama but a collage of street photos that technology let us see as one. Whoever took this photo, thank you very much.
