They are paper-thin discs plated with your camera's finish. You you stick them over the "7" in "M7." You can get them inscribed "4-2," "4-P," "6" or blank (for the M2 and 3), depending on what your current camera is. Spouse sees the new camera, but it looks like the old one, and she doesn't notice a thing. Everyone's happy. Leica sells more cameras. Cost: $48 chrome, $62 black chrome, $75 black paint, $125 Titanium. Brassing or zincing added for an additional $25. Code name HYDME. - --Peter Klein Seattle, WA Ted wrote: >>However, the plan is to make sure I'm creating income with the new one quickly, so she who must be obeyed, the feared one when buying new equipment , ;-) will think things are peachy keen and the new camera will sort of be announced after the fact! ;-) hell you don't think I'd tell her before hand do you? :-) The secret is to know when it's arriving, have her out doing the mall thing when it does, out of the box and into the bag, wrapping off to re-cycle and a week later or so it will just sort of appear unannounced. Like the hour or before I leave on a shoot so that by the time I get back she'll have cooled off. :-) That's the plan, don't tell her, I might not make it to the 53 wedding anniversary! ;-) >> ted. - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
