While there are a handful of plaintiff's attorneys for whom "keep(ing) them honest" is their motivation, I would suggest that the prospect of making money is the motivating factor for the vast majority of plaintiff's attorneys. Not that there's anything wrong with wanting to make money - or succeeding at it.:-) B. I guarantee you I can get far more done with one of them by my side than if I had a lawyer or a journalist, or even a citizen reformer there.
