Frank -

The 80/1.4 is my favorite portrait lens.  The 100/2.8 is a fantastic lens 
for everything except portraits.  It can still be a good portrait lens if 
you use a stocking filter or Gausian Blur  :-)

I like the extra speed with the 80/1.4 and it's not as heavy as the 100.
