Couldn't we even keep the bloody cud-chewer alive till we got to shore so we wouldn't have to deal with a bloody corpse. Does anyone but Brownlow know just how much more a dead moose weighs than a live one? We don't even know if the poor animal is a bull or a cow, for Heaven's sake. Seth, angry as hell at what went on in my absence. Stop laughing, Grant, you're probably in some mountain valley up in the Athabaska.
