(PAWless until : then) I am seeking advice. I cannot afford the $8,000 Nikon : scanner used by the local paper. : : I hear contradictory information. Some brands of scanners : are excellent but are hampered by the software. I hear good : reports about the Polaroid but the company just declared : bankruptcy. Others say the new Acer is the way to go. : : The bottom line is that I don't want to make some terrible : mistake and then have fellow LUGgers say, "Gee, if you'd : only bought this model..." : : Suggestions and comments? : : Thanks in advance-- : : --Bill Clough : : : __________________________________________________ : Do You Yahoo!? : Try FREE Yahoo!
