Subject: RE: [Leica] Thinking about a Voigtlander 90

I have the Voigtlander lens.

If f3:5 is fast enough and you don't want to pay Leica prices buy it. I have
an image of some kebab that I took in Greece at...

http://www.steveunsworth.co.uk/Misc_html/misc_image.htm

taken at f3:5 it doesn't really prove anything I guess as it's quite a small
image. I don't use 90mm that much so I'll probably buy a 28mm Summicron
before I buy a 90mm Summicron.

The real bargains for me in the Voigtlander range are the 15mm - no
alternative, and the 21mm - an absolute cracker of a lens.

Steve

The editors at Amateur Photographer thought enough of it to have it as a
entry for the best lens of the year feature. It didn't win, but it must be
notable, as there were lots of great lenses developed in 2001.
