Like yourself I couldn't convince myself that I needed one but then as you may remember I had the chance to try one. I'll be getting the grip and a couple of softies at the same time. I'm expecting it to be available about the end of this month. The arguments against were, 1, that I didn't think I'd need it. I've never really felt the need to shoot several frames in rapid succession, which is what I felt the chief purpose of the RW was. 2, I didn't like the idea that it would make the M body considerable bigger, though I do on occasion use a GMP grip, which does add to the size and weight of the M. And I've got a lot of chrome gear, which is already heavier than the black stuff. Well, I've since reconsidered and have ordered one, which I'll use with a Rapid Grip + softie (maybe a purple one), which is also new to me. I like the idea that I'll be able to shoot without taking the camera from my eye, and am curious as to how I'll find the added weight of the camera. I know that, for many members on this list, it's one of the essential add-ons to the M, and I look forward to working with one.
