Rolfe,

Thanks for the great idea.  I never thought of removing the
basket from the M6.  I switch back and forth between the M6
and M3 and haven't had misloads with the M3 for years.  The
M6 is a different story ~ misload all of the time.  I think
I will try the "6" with the basket removed.  (Of course I
have not taken a picture using the M6 with the lens cap
on...but I have lots of shots from the "3" that way).
