Austin,

Erwin said "was" forbidden. It has been fully explained and only after it 
was explained, did Erwin say what you quoted above. Not before.

What you meant was "I knew but couldn't tell you." He has never said "I 
know but I can't tell you"...

Big difference. Erwin does not taunt people with "I know something that you 
don't know... na na na na na!"
