I always assumed those things would be a bit cramped and pokey, but you say
not? Then that sounds like a good idea. It would also work for a 90/4 if I
get one of those.

There's also the Voigtlander one, but it's not that cheap (GBP 70) and I'm
put off by the size of it (ancient nickel lens, old chrome body, bulbous
black plastic finder...)

What is the Kobalux 28mm finder like?

I'm surprised it vignettes so much. I wonder how much of that is
geometrical, how much artificial? Are there many RF 28mm lenses of
symmetrical design?

The main was wide open and slow, but has a fair bit of detail. I think the
flare gives them a soft appearance.
