Subject: [Leica] airport film inspection

About a year ago, at the Munich airport, I requested a hand check,
expressing concern about the effect of the inspection device on my film. The
German Border Police security checker politely informed me that my films
were going to receive a lot more radiation in the aircraft cabin from cosmic
rays than from the inspection machine at the airport.
Is there a physicist in the house who would like to verify the validity of
that statement? I assume the effect of cosmic rays would be a function of
travel time at cruising altitude.
