Owning two systems was a real pain. Before going out to shoot or going on a vacation, I would waste a lot of time trying to decide which system to take. For vacations, I often took both. Half frame also biases you to shoot vertical format, which didn't suit my style. Most important, when I look at my pictures from that era, the Leica shot are far ahead of the Pen's, both in content and technical quality. Leica rangefinder-viewfinder seeing suits me much better than groundglass. I am a bug on lightweight systems and will continue to try new ones such as the Bessa R2. But the final decision is based on the resulting pictures and the ease of using the system. Heavy systems take away all of my pleasure in photographing (as an amateur) and I will not use them.
