I left it (as well as other parts of your post) out because I don't see how it/they (specifically 3) is/are relevant. Perhaps you could try to explain why you believe specifically 3, that you re-quote below, is relevant. It is obvious that the item must come WITH a warranty card, or all bets are off. Filling in the date of purchase, address etc. is hardly an issue, and it IS being bought from the "purportedly" authorized photo dealer. I am not clear what point you are trying to argue in favor/against here...since it just can't be the same one I am ;-) Austin > > Sigh...Austin if you are not going to read my posts what is the point of > sending them? > > Here is the part you left OUT of your quotation: > --------------- > 3) Warranty claims can only be made by submission of this Warranty Card > which has been completed with the date of purchase, address and > signature of > the authorized photo dealer. > --------------- > > John Collier > > > From: "Austin Franklin" <darkroom@ix.netcom.com> > > > >> 4) When submitting claims under warranty please return the > PRADOVIT P 300 > >> together with the Warranty Card and a description of the claim to Leica > >> Projection GmbH or a Leica agency. > >> > >> I can see no loop holes for grey equipment in both the Warranty > >> Cards I have > >> quoted. > >> > >> John Collier > > > > What do you mean "loopholes"?
