[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Isn't it true that the "black chrome" is black anodized chrome laid down over the base metal - which means that even if the top plate of the M7 is brass, one first wears through the black anodizing, and then hits the "silver" chrome - and it would then take about six life-times of total abuse to ever get through the chrome to the brass? So don't buy the M7 because you think that as you get strap wear, etc., you'll have a camera that looks like one of Jim Marshall's M2s - buy it, if you're going to, because it has real features you want.;-) B.
