Believe it or not, no. There is some reduction in the brightness of the
frame lines, but nothing I can't live with to eliminate flare. But this is
clearly - or dimly - a matter of individual taste. Try it - it's a cheap
easy fix. Until the new windows come in on the boat from Germany...;-)

BD... the 3M Tape  does not terribly reduce image brightness?
