The tape does work - but any fix like the tape does have to reduce
brightness...so the news that there will be retrofits available - IF the new
antireflective coating is as effective as the tape - is excellent news.

HEY, hey, hey..... I called THE Man in NJ.......  Leica USA Repair says they
are trying to get the parts in to perform the necessary surgery ( or is that
VF Window Transplant?) ...

It is not currently available.
There is no cost numbers available ( cheap or $$$ ?? we don;t know yet)
They are not sure when or if for sure...

But there is hope!

I like BD's idea of tape as a first and cheaper try......
